The History of NYM
NYM is a privacy-centric cryptocurrency and decentralized infrastructure project that aims to address the limitations of online privacy in the digital age. The project's origins can be traced back to 2017, when a team of developers, privacy advocates, and researchers sought to design an innovative system to tackle surveillance and data collection issues on the internet. Tokenization and Decentralized Incentives
In order to sustain the Mixnet and ensure that all nodes in the system are reliably functional, the NYM team introduced its native token. The token is used as an incentive mechanism, rewarding participants for operating nodes and routing data.
