Meet the Visionaries of Injective Protocol

INJ: Founding Team Behind Injective Protocol

Injective Protocol (INJ) was founded with the goal of creating a decentralized trading ecosystem that addresses limitations in the traditional financial markets. This vision is largely spearheaded by a group of dedicated individuals who bring their expertise in blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and computing. Below is an overview of the key figures leading the development and continued expansion of the Injective Protocol.

Eric Chen - Co-Founder & CEO

Eric Chen is one of the co-founders of Injective Protocol and serves as the platform’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Chen holds a strong background in blockchain technology coupled with experience in traditional finance and venture capital. Before his work on Injective, Chen was involved with high-profile blockchain-focused projects while working in various research and investment roles at prominent financial institutions and blockchain funds. His understanding of decentralized applications is critical, especially in architecting the platform’s infrastructure and ensuring that Injective remains competitive in the evolving DeFi landscape. Chen’s focus has been on bridging the gap between decentralized markets and traditional finance systems, through the use of innovative decentralized exchanges (DEX) technology.

Albert Chon - Co-Founder & CTO

Albert Chon is the other co-founder of Injective Protocol and manages the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Chon previously worked as a software developer and has extensive experience in computing, software engineering, and cybersecurity. His academic background features advanced studies in cryptography and machine learning, both of which have been essential in developing Injective Protocol’s secure, permissionless, and market-efficient environment. Chon plays a key role in developing cutting-edge decentralized systems and ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the platform’s blockchain infrastructure.

Advisors and Collaborators

In addition to the founding leadership, Injective Protocol has gained support from a network of core advisors and collaborators. Notably, the project has received backing from prominent venture capital groups and partners within the blockchain ecosystem. Collaboration with figures well-versed in the DeFi community, particularly in the areas of liquidity provision and securing exchange mechanisms, has contributed to expanding Injective’s reach and improving its technology base.

The team has also benefited from its association with other innovators in blockchain technology, including advisory input from Binance Labs, Pantera Capital, and other blockchain-related investment arms, further bolstering the project’s credibility in the space.
