Meet the Visionaries Behind Injective Protocol

The Founding Team Behind Injective (INJ)

Injective Protocol, often represented by its token INJ, was built with the vision of providing a fully decentralized layer-1 blockchain designed for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. A key factor in the development of Injective Protocol stems from its experienced and capable founding team, actively driving the project forward with a focus on advancing financial technologies.

Eric Chen – CEO and Co-Founder

Eric Chen co-founded Injective Protocol and serves as its CEO. With a background in cryptography and finance, Chen’s professional history is rooted in both the development and research side of blockchain technology. Before founding Injective, Chen worked at Innovating Capital, a prominent blockchain-focused investment fund. His expertise spans decentralized finance, governance models, and digital asset security.

Chen’s vision for Injective centered around the need to overcome limitations within the existing cryptocurrency markets. Combining technical acuity with a drive for improving accessibility, Chen’s focus has been on creating a decentralized platform robust enough for any financial market that otherwise would face restrictions in traditional systems. His hands-on leadership remains integral to Injective’s direction.

Albert Chin – CTO and Co-Founder

Albert Chin also serves as a co-founder of Injective Protocol, taking the technical lead as the project's Chief Technical Officer. Chin has an extensive background as a developer, having worked with blockchain technology and web infrastructure before launching Injective. He studied computer science during his academic career, acquiring advanced skills in algorithm design, distributed systems, and software engineering.

Prior to Injective, Chin had worked at large tech companies such as Amazon, contributing his expertise to the development of scalable solutions. His work at Injective reflects his commitment to ensuring the protocol is not only secure but also scalable, low-latency, and user-centric. He has been the driving force behind Injective's core infrastructure design, which marries efficiency with a high degree of decentralization suited for DeFi applications.

Advisory Team and Partnerships

The founding team of Injective Protocol has also been complemented by contributions from leading advisors and strong partnerships within the broader blockchain ecosystem. The project has received investment and support from high-profile firms, including Binance and Pantera Capital. These partnerships add a layer of credibility to the project, reinforcing the founding team’s vision of building a decentralized and scalable financial infrastructure.
