Meet Ankr's Visionary Founders: Driving Web3 Innovation

The Founding Team Behind ANKR: Innovators in Blockchain and Web3 Infrastructure

Ankr is a decentralized blockchain infrastructure provider, built with the aim of supporting Web3 development and simplifying the hosting of blockchain nodes with distributed cloud-based computing. Founded in 2017, the project has set its sights on creating a flexible and scalable infrastructure for blockchain ecosystems. To understand the roots of Ankr, it's crucial to dive into the background of its founding team.

Chandler Song - Co-Founder & CEO

Chandler Song is one of the key figures behind the creation of Ankr. Before delving into the world of blockchain and decentralized technology, Song graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, he developed an interest in blockchain and entrepreneurship. Notably, he had an internship at Amazon Web Services (AWS), giving him hands-on experience with cloud computing. This experience later proved instrumental in shaping Ankr's mission to decentralize cloud services. Song's vision for Ankr was sparked by the desire to improve upon the limitations of traditional centralized cloud providers. By leveraging blockchain technology, his approach focuses on decentralizing web services and creating a more open and interoperable internet. Under his leadership, Ankr has continuously evolved to offer services that aim to support a diverse range of Web3 protocols and developers.

Stanley Wu - Co-Founder & CTO

Stanley Wu plays an essential role as the technical mastermind behind Ankr. Like Song, Wu has experience working for tech giant Amazon as a senior software engineer at AWS. His extensive knowledge in building and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure directly helped guide the development of Ankr's decentralized cloud model. Wu's contributions focus on the technical aspects of Ankr’s platform, improving its robustness and scalability. He has been instrumental in ensuring that Ankr provides seamless solutions for running blockchain nodes while reducing the traditional hurdles associated with centralized cloud service providers.

Ryan Fang (Chun) - Co-Founder

Ryan Fang, an investment banking veteran, rounds out the founding trio. Fang holds a degree from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Before co-founding Ankr, he worked as an analyst in the finance industry, notably at companies like Credit Suisse. His focus on the business side complements the technical expertise of his co-founders. Fang’s background has provided Ankr with a strategic edge in business development, partnerships, and capital raising. His role has been pivotal in positioning Ankr in the cryptocurrency space, allowing the company to secure several partnerships with blockchain projects and exchanges. The combined expertise of Song, Wu, and Fang has been essential in shaping the direction and growth of Ankr, making the project a robust player in the blockchain infrastructure space.
